Breach Consultation
MEC Consultation on the MRA Breach and Appeals Process
Following the breach investigation performed by MEC during 2006/07 and the subsequent appeals of the breach decision to the MRA Forum and then the Authority, MEC decided to invite comments from all interested parties on the current processes for hearing breaches and appeals as documented in the MRA and subsidiary documents.
All responses were presented to MEC on 28th August and a Working Group was convened to consider them. The Group has drafted a number of changes to the MRA and a new MAP which will be agreed through the change process.
