Executive Summary
ECOES functionality is based around the logic applied to MPAS records, this means that the MPAN and its Supplementary data are the key data items. The MSN was added to provide additional information to Supplier for the resolution of queries, particularly during the Change of Supplier process. Initial analysis of MSN records in ECOES carried out by Gemserv indicates that MSN associations to MPANs may not be end-dated as expected following, for example, meter exchanges and Disconnection events. This is not expected functionality and is impacting on the PPMIPs ability to allocate transactions. It can also lead to false duplicate meter reporting.Change History
