GDCC Release Information

MRA Change Management Procedure Overview

The GDCC Change Process and how it interacts with the overall MRA Change Process as outlined in MAP17 (Procedure for Issue Resolution and Change Management). It covers the following activities:

  • Issue Resolution;
  • Solution Pre-assessment;
  • Generation of Change Proposals;
  • Impact Assessment;
  • MDB Processes in relation to Change Management;
  • Appeals; and
  • Implementation.

GDCC Change Process

The Central Administration Service (CAS) acts as the primary interface between the MRA, GDCC database users and the GDCC Technical Service Provider. Activities of CAS include:

  • Preparing Impact Assessments for prospective changes to the GDCC resulting from MRA Issues or Change Proposals raised in accordance with the MRA Change Procedures issued pursuant to Clause 9.23 of the MRA, which shall include cost information;
  • Overseeing GDCC database development, including co-ordination of appropriate testing by or on behalf of users;
  • Release management; and
  • Continual service improvement.

GDCC Release Timetable

Changes to the GDCC are carried out in line with standard MRA Release cycles on the last Thursday of February and June and the first Thursday in November.

The below information outlines planned release dates of the GDCC for 2018/19:

  • Release Date: 22nd February 2018
  • Release Date: 28th June 2018
  • Release Date: 1st November 2018
