Green Deal Expert Group

Overview

The Green Deal Expert Group (GDEG) is a sub-committee of the MRA executive Committee (MEC) established to assist in developing necessary changes to the MRA and MRA Products to support continued development of the Green Deal Central Charge (GDCC) database, a market central system capable of recording and storing information relating to Green Deal Plans and associated Green Deal MPANs. The GDCC supports the transfer of information between Green Deal Providers and MRA Supplier parties to facilitate the collection of Green Deal charges as required under the MRA.

The GDEG had a key role in ensuring that the GDCC was successfully implemented for the January 2013 go-live of the Green Deal and continues to manage the development of changes going forward.

The related changes to MRA products for the Green Deal can be viewed on the Change Tracker page on the MRASCo website.
