Issue Resolution Expert Group (IREG) Update January 2017

IREG met on 11th January 2017 and discussed the following:

MIF 197 Mandating the secure sending of data via the DTC

IREG completed its final review of the MAP09 changes and agreed that the CPs can be submitted to MDB. IREG also agreed, that following analysis of the volume of Co-operative Objections submitted under MAP12 (Procedure for Customer Requested and Co-operative Objections), that amendments to the MAP will be drafted to reduce the risks for Customer data exchange. The CP and proposed redlining will be submitted to MDB as soon as complete. 

MIF 198 Procedure for the Assignment of Debt in Relation to Prepayment Metering

IREG reviewed the latest drafting of MAP13 (Procedure for the Assignment of Debt in Relation to Prepayment Meters) and identified additional updates to the documents. IREG agreed that following these updates being completed, the documents will be issued for consideration of the equivalent gas change by SPAA. Following feedback from SPAA it is expected that the CPs will be submitted to MDB in February. 

MIF215 – Metering Commission Flow

Elexon presented the current draft of a flow in development under BSC change P283 (Reinforcing the Commissioning of Metering Equipment Processes). IREG members provided feedback and will submit specific comments directly to Elexon for consideration alongside the comments from the Elexon workgroup. An update will be provided in February.

IREG will next meet on 8th February 2017.
